Amended Final Results of Review for Activated Carbon from China. Effective Oct. 24, 2011, the International Trade Administration has amended the final results of its administrative review of the antidumping duty order on activated carbon from China for the period Oct. 11, 2006, through March 31, 2008, pursuant to a court decision. The ITA has lowered the dumping margins for Hebei Foreign Trade and Advertising Corporation from 228.11% to 16.35% and for Ningxia Guanghua Cherishmet Activated Carbon Co. Ltd. from 16.84% to 2.95%. If these margins become final, the ITA will instruct U.S. Customs and Border Protection to use these rates to assess AD duties on entries of subject merchandise from these two respondents made during the period of review. However, these amended final results will not affect the cash deposit rates for activated carbon from these two respondents, which will remain the company-specific rates established for the most recent period during which they were reviewed.
