HONG KONG -- Leading international trade and customs law firm Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg, P.A., announced today the opening of a new, expanded office in Hong Kong.

Sally Peng, Asia-Pacific practice group leader for ST&R, welcomed the larger facilities. "Our Asia-Pacific team's expertise in trade laws and regulations is more important than ever, particularly with the concerning rise in trade restrictions in this region and across the globe," said Peng. "ST&R is continuing to add experienced professionals to its staff to address that need, and our new office space will better accommodate that growth. It will also allow us to utilize the latest technology to provide the best possible service to our clients."

ST&R has been heavily involved in Asia-Pacific trade matters for decades and first opened its Hong Kong office in 2009. The firm expanded to Shanghai in 2015 and Guangzhou in 2016, and the three offices now have dozens of professionals offering extensive knowledge of customs and trade laws, regulations, and policies throughout the region.

Founded in 1977, Sandler, Travis & Rosenberg and its affiliated global trade compliance management firm STTAS comprise the largest customs and international trade services provider in the world. The firms operate throughout North America, South America, Asia, and Europe and together offer the expertise of hundreds of international professionals who assist companies of all sizes to comply with the complex laws, rules, and regulations affecting imports and exports.
