Corporations and consumers are demanding that overseas producers observe responsible international standards in their
labor and environmental practices as well as in their reporting of accurate origin information to U.S. purchasers.
STTAS assists importers in developing a Corporate Code of Conduct defining the company’s expectations for supplier
compliance with local laws and regulations, for prohibiting the use of child or forced labor, for adhering to health and
safety requirements, and for engaging in environmentally sound practices.
We assist with the enforcement of this Code of Conduct by developing a monitoring program and/or assisting in the
solicitation and evaluation of proposals from professional monitoring providers.
