ST&R’s International Trade and Government Relations Team includes former high-ranking Congressional aides and Administration officials. Members of our professional staff have worked in the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives and have held leadership posts in the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR), the Department of Commerce, the Department of Labor, the Department of the Treasury, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (formerly the U.S. Customs Service). Counted among this team of seasoned professionals are former USTR Trade Ambassadors, a Deputy General Counsel and an Associate General Counsel to the USTR, a former Attorney-Advisor at the International Trade Commission (ITC), and a former Deputy Under Secretary of Labor for International Affairs and U.S. representative to the International Labor Organization.
Members of our Washington, DC-based staff have occupied senior level positions in foreign governments and international organizations, including a senior legal advisor post at the World Trade Organization (WTO). Our professionals are fluent in Spanish, Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese), Vietnamese, Russian, Portuguese, French, and German.
